We are optimistic that OFL will continue our planned Summer Session. Due to schedule modifications related to COVID-19, we cannot process summer registrations at this time. We will continue to keep you posted.
About our Summer Program
OFL’s FREE summer school program offers you the chance to retake a class for a better grade, get caught up on credits, or take a fun elective. OFL’s guided independent study program allows you to work at a pace that best matches your preferred learning style—spend more one-on-one time with your teacher on difficult concepts, and move quickly through subjects in which you excel.
Registration and enrollment can be quick and easy! Before starting the registration process, please be sure that you have a signed referral from your counselor. If you have previously attended an independent study program at Opportunities for Learning, or if you have attended a District Summer School program at William S Hart junior or senior high school: click on the link below and use the username and password that you created and used for testing.
If you do not remember your username and/or password, please contact your local center and they will give it to you so that you can get started. Are you new to OFL and have never attended summer school in the Santa Clarita Valley? If yes, then follow the link shown above and get started? Unsure of where you fit in? Please do not create a new profile, doing so will result in duplicate records and will cause a delay in processing. Instead, contact a local center for clarification. Please keep in mind that OFL operates both our independent summer program and the Williams S. Hart district’s campus-based summer program. To prevent confusion, please make sure that your counselor has provided you with the correct Referral for our program. You can generate a referral from this page. (note: Students can not attend both programs in one summer.)
